We did a lot of Mother's day celebrating. On Saturday evening my side of the family got together for pizza, salad, and cake at Lauraleigh's house. Brock had a blast! He loves hanging out with his cool big cousins. Sweet Matthew showed him their turtle sandbox. Brock had never been in a sandbox or even felt sand. (I love being able to see all of his "firsts")
It took him a couple minutes to figure out what the big deal was. But Matthew was quick to show him how to build a sandcastle.
They have a BIG slide. Well, much bigger than the little ones we usually go down at the park. Once Brock saw Daniel go down there was no stopping him. In fact, he went down about 20 times. He loves all their big boy toys like Lionel trains and Matthew's piano. We did not even leave their house until 9pm which is an hour past his bed time. Oh well, guess it's ok to stay up late every once in a while.
