Rainy Day

It's been a very lazy, nothing going on kind of Saturday today. Kevin had an all day meeting at school so it was just me and Brock most the day. It has rained all day and we mostly just played around the house. It's nice we have a covered patio and Brock can still kinda be outside and play in his sandbox. Of course we had to try out his new raincoat a sweet friend handed down. He didn't let a little rain stop him from "mowing" and exploring the back yard.
I got a little stir crazy and took Brock out to get some chick fil a ice cream. We just sat in the car and ate it then decided to go to Hobby Lobby. In the past we have had bad experiences with Brock at Hobby Lobby (a broken football lamp he threw), but today he did great! We had a little talk in the car before going in on how he should act and it worked. Brock especially liked seeing the pumpkins and baby Jesus (nativities) and Christmas trees. It was funny, he has totally forgot who Santa Clause is.
Now he has taken a great rainy day nap and we are headed out to celebrate Daniel's birthday with our family.
