Merry Christmas Eve

We always spend Christmas Eve with the Norris side of the family at my Mom and Dad's house.

When we got to their house Pappa, Matthew and Daniel were playing with the trains. Dad has turned the garage into a Christmas train land.

We are so blessed to live close to almost all our family and be able to spend the holidays with everyone.

Mom worked extra hard on getting Lauraleigh and I a special gift this year. We all like to read the "Pioneer Woman" blog. Well, she has a new cookbook that just came out full of yummy recipes.

Not only did Mom get us the cookbook, but she was able to send the books to Ree, the author, and have our books autographed. I can't wait to start working on some of the recipes. They all look so good.

And as always we played our annual game of bingo. Matthew was our official Bingo caller this year. He gets his calling skills from Lauraleigh, I'm sure, who has always been our caller in the past. He did a great job.

We ended the night by going to the candle light service at Mom and Dad's church. It was a wonderful ending to a great day.
