Pheasant Hunting

The weekend before Christmas Kevin drove up to Kansas to be with our friend Matt. Kevin got to do something he has never done before. Go pheasant hunting.

The boys did pretty good too. They got 11 birds total.

Notice how good Matt looks in his hat. That was his "host gift" from Kevin. It had warm ear flaps and lights in the front. The guys like to get each other host gifts when they go visit. Sometime the gifts are goofy, sometimes pretty neat. I think Matt really liked his new hat.

A big thank you to Dave for taking the boys out and showing them a wonderful time and to Mary Lynn for being their amazing personal chef and taking great care of them in every possible way.

The guys had a great time. Maybe someday Brock will get to go pheasant hunting...
