Weekend Wrap Up

On Friday afternoon the Colliers came into town. The boys had their fantasy football draft, so Vanessa and Makenna hung out with me and Brock. Makenna and Brock like to chase each other round and round. They got along great!

On Saturday morning Vanessa and I took the kiddos the Chick-Fil-A for breakfast and some play place fun. It was great! The kids had a blast. We can't wait for baby Caden to join the fun.

On Saturday afternoon we went to the Omni with Lauraleigh, John, and the boys. We saw a movie about Sardines in Africa. It was pretty interesting. Brock did really good. The movie was about 45 minutes long and he made it through about 30 minutes. That is probably better than I thought he would do. Kevin had to take him to the quiet room, then they walked around the museum for a few minutes while we watched the end of the movie. He is the best dad and husband ever. Every girl should be as lucky as me.

After the Omni we went to the new Chuy's in Fort Worth. It was sooooo good and we had fun with the Newtons. Once again Kevin had to take Brock for a little walk outside. (He only got one nap that day, he was fussier than normal.) Once again, Kevin is the best ever. Then Brock and I went to the car and he played in there. He loves to play in the car.

All in all, it was a really fun couple of days!
