My parents gave us our Christmas gift early this year... Season passes to the Fort Worth Zoo! They like to give gifts that we will really get a lot of use out of as a family. My sister and her family got museum passes. They went ahead and gave it to us now so we can go lots this fall and enjoy the cooler weather.
The very first thing we did was to ride the Yellow Rose Express train. It was great. Brock loved it! There was just one problem...it was kinda a short ride. When it was time to get off Brock just kept saying "choo choo, choo choo". He did not want to get off but we can ride it lots more when we go back.
Kevin had to go to the LCCS homecoming dance tonight, so Brock and I hung out with Nana and Papa. Daniel was also there, spending the night. Of course after dinner Papa and the boys watched the train video. Then Daniel showed Brock how to play with the hot wheels.
After some running around outside, baths and dessert, I brought one very tired little boy home and put him to bed.
