Happy Birthday Brock

After 14 hours of labor our sweet baby Brock was born. They put him right up on my chest after he was born and I will never forget how warm and snuggly he felt. This is our very first family photo and I love it. I love Kevin's face. I even love that Brock is screaming.




Kevin cut the umbilical cord and also put on Brock's very first diaper. He was a great dad from the very first moment.

Our poor family waited around all day. They were very patient and very excited to finally meet Brock.

This is my second favorite picture from the hospital. Isn't Brock cute! I took this picture from my bed. Brock would just lay there and look at me. It was love at first site for both of us.

We got to go home two days later. I dressed Brock in this sweet blue outfit that his Nanna bought him. I wish I could have gotton some better pictures of him all dressed up, but the discharge process was kinda hectic. I think he looks like a little doll.

When I think back over the last 9 months, I have many happy memories. It was such an exciting time of preparation. I loved that season of my life, but I am even more excited to start this new season... being a mom.
